An excellent opportunity to meet colleagues and discuss and share new research, the ARS is proudly considered the foremost event for research in supply chain management and logistics (SCML). This event was created to bring scholars from around the world and from all disciplines into the SCML discussion.
The Academic Research Symposium (ARS) takes place on Sunday, September 19, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm EDST. Your EDGE 2021 registration includes the ARS, however if you only plan to attend the ARS, you can register separately.
2021 Academic Research Symposium Call for Papers and Posters
All research submissions (papers, abstracts, poster sessions) will be evaluated on originality, clarity, research, design, theoretical and practical contribution. We are especially interested in papers related to supply chain management and its various disciplines, such as logistics and transportation, marketing, operations, and purchasing. Only complete research papers will be considered for the E. Grosvenor Plowman Award, which is awarded for the best research paper of the Academic Research Symposium.

Donald J. Bowersox Doctoral Symposium Nominations
The Donald J. Bowersox Doctoral Symposium has been an annual event with CSCMP since 1990. The Bowersox Doctoral Symposium brings together current doctoral students from around the globe to meet and discuss current and future research as they pursue their doctoral degrees in supply chain management or logistics. Students are nominated by supervising faculty and chosen by the Bowersox Doctoral Symposium co-chairs.
All nominations must be made by faculty and are limited to doctoral students pursuing academic careers. Nominations from institutions around the world are encouraged to create a cohort of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
The online nomination period will be open from March 1, 2021 -

The 2021 Doctoral Dissertation Award (DDA)
The 2021 Doctoral Dissertation Award (DDA) is open to all who will have completed their doctoral work in a field related to functions within the supply chain between January 1, 2020 and June 1, 2021. If you have already accepted a position at a college or university, you may still apply.
To be considered eligible, candidates MUST be a member of CSCMP and follow the criteria and formatting guidelines and submit a completed application form to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
The online submission period is open March 1, 2021 – May 14, 2021.
