The ARS is proudly considered the foremost event for research in supply chain management and logistics (SCML). It is an open event, created to bring scholars from all over the world and from all disciplines into the SCML discussion.

There are two registration options available:

  1. Register for the ARS; or
  2. Register for the EDGE conference and attend both the ARS and the EDGE Conference and Exhibition.

An EDGE Registration Includes:

2019 Academic Research Symposium Call for Papers

All research submissions (papers, abstracts, poster sessions) will be evaluated on originality, clarity, research, design, theoretical and practical contribution. We are especially interested in papers related to supply chain management and its various disciplines, such as logistics and transportation, marketing, operations, and purchasing. Only complete research papers will be considered for the E. Grosvenor Plowman Award, which is awarded for the best research paper of the Academic Research Symposium.

The online submission period is open from March 1, 2019 - May 1, 2019.

2019 Donald J. Bowersox Doctoral Symposium Nominations

The Doctoral Symposium is held each year at CSCMP's Annual Conference - EDGE. The symposium is specifically designed for doctoral candidates specializing in supply chain management and related fields of study who intend to pursue a career in academia. From the reviews of both participants and faculty, those students currently in their latter stages of doctoral studies will find this event most beneficial.

The online nomination period is open March 1, 2019 - May 1, 2019.

2019 Doctoral Dissertation Award Submissions

The 2019 Doctoral Dissertation Award (DDA) is open to all who will have completed their doctoral work in a field related to functions within the supply chain between January 1, 2018 and May 15, 2019. If you have already accepted a position at a college or university, you may still apply.

To be considered eligible, candidates MUST be a member of CSCMP and follow the criteria and formatting guidelines and submit a com¬pleted application form to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).

Please note: The Academic Research Symposium is a free event to those registered for CSCMP EDGE.  

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received by 11:59 pm CST will be refunded: 100% (by July 15, 2019) and 50% (August 15, 2019). No refunds will be accepted after August 16, 2019. All Cancellations must be made by e-mail to CSCMP memberships are nontransferable and never refunded. Cancellation of travel and hotel reservations are the sole responsibility of the registrant.
