Committee Initial Selection

After the review period, the Annual Conference Committee will select and assign 10-12 top-rated sessions to their corresponding tracks. An email on the status of your session submission will be sent the week of March 5.
Track Chair Orientation
 

February 13 - 14, 2018
The Track Chair Orientation will kick off the educational development stage of EDGE Annual Conference. Track chairs will learn what resources to utilize, how to approach speakers and how to design their track for success. 
Remaining Sessions Released to Track Chairs

February 15 - May 15, 2018
As a reminder, there are 6 sessions per track. Track Chairs* are given the autonomy to develop the remaining 4-5 sessions in their track after the initial selection stage is complete. Sessions that are not selected in the initial selection stage will be transferred into the "Sessions Library". The Sessions Library will be utilized in the track development stage following the Track Chair Orientation, starting February 15 and concluding May 15, when all tracks are considered final.

*Although the Sessions Library is a proven resource and is widely utilized, Track chairs are not required to pursue the sessions from the Sessions Library. Track chairs are volunteers and they may develop sessions at their own discretion. Please do not approach Track chairs during the developmental stage.
All Tracks/Sessions Finalized

May 15, 2018
All tracks are considered final* on May 15, 2018. 'Final' means that track chairs have submitted all of their session descriptions and speakers' information/agreements. In other words, the entire track is ready for promotion.

*From time to time, sessions fall through or a speaker cancels which allows the track chair to rely upon the Sessions Library for other options.
